2012-2013 Registration Open

Registration for the Sept. 2012 - May 2013 season is beginning. Please print and fill out the enclosed registration form and mail to me at the address listed on the form. Based on the interest level, there is a chance I will have to close registration and start a wait list. I will notify you right away if we have to wait list your swimmer(s). Members will be accepted in order of receipt of registration on a first received first served basis. Practice will begin the first weekend in Sept. Monday is Labor Day but we will start on Sat. 9/1. Practices are held at the Lovett School Natatorium and directions can be found on the website.

I am very excited about the growth of the group. We have a fantastic coaching staff in Sergiy Useinov, Tim Storsteen and several experienced high school swimmers who will be in the water with the beginner swimmers.

Registration coming soon

This is just a quick note to let you know that FutureSwim registration will be available on the website soon. I will send another email out when it is ready. The plan is to have two, one hour sessions this season. 4:30-5:30 and 5:30-6:30pm on Saturdays and 12:30-1:30 and 1:30 - 2:30pm on Sundays. In addition to Sergiy, I have hired a new coach, Tim Storsteen, who has coached the Marist HS team for 5 years, is a USA Masters Coach and the coach of the Brookwood Hills Summer League team. He substituted on several occasions last year and I am excited to have him on as a full time coach. We wish Emily the best in college and she will be back at Christmas but in her place we will have various High School swimmers, USA swimmers in the water as well as Dan and I helping from the deck with the younger swimmers as in the past.

Sergiy is currently in Russia and the plan is to start either Aug. 25th or Sept. 1st. Those final details will be in the next email, but at least you have an idea.
